Exitech Ltd., a laser micromachining systems integrator based in Oxford, UK, has opened a micromachining facility in Foster City, Calif., that is equipped with systems based on excimer and 355-nm Nd:YAG lasers for processing a variety of materials. The operation will offer systems sales, process development, contract manufacturing and proof-of-principle trials.
