Elliot Scientific Ltd. of Harpenden, UK, has signed a distribution agreement with Akela Laser Corp. of Monmouth Junction, N.J., a high-power laser diodes and optomechanical subassemblies manufacturer. The latter company will complement the former’s existing portfolio of products for the telecom industry and OEMs requiring compact high-power laser sources. Its products will enable Elliot Scientific to offer a complete range of laser diodes to customers in the UK and Ireland.
