Through the acquisition of the major assets of Princeton Lightwave, including the production facilities and patent portfolio, the Trumpf Group of Ditzingen, Germany, has formed Trumpf Photonics Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary near Princeton, N.J. The new company will develop and manufacture high-power laser diodes and active optoelectronic components.
