Toshiba Camera Used in Feature Film

IRVINE, Calif., July 27, 2010 — High-definition camera technology provider Toshiba Imaging Systems Div. announced the recent use of its IK-HD1 camera as part of a rig that captures background plates for feature films.

The model was selected to capture day and night moving plates by 24frame.com, a Southern California-based company specializing in HD projection car process playback.

Toshiba's suite of five ultracompact, HD cameras includes both 3-CCD and CMOS sensor models. They are suitable for broadcast as well as life science, aerospace, machine vision, military and defense, diagnostic and microscopy applications.
