Tony Posbic has been named quality supervisor of optical components maker CVI's Covina, Calif., operations. CVI, based in Albequerque, N.M., operates manufacturing facilities there and in California, the British Isles and Korea. Posbic was formerly a senior optical specialist with Pacific Optical and previously held positions as quality supervisor in Corning's Optical Network Devices Div. and as an optician for Tamarack Scientific.
