Luxtera Inc., a Carlsbad, Calif., fabless semiconductor and silicon photonics company, announced it has added two senior executives to its management team. Marek Tlalka has joined Luxtera as vice president of marketing, and James Perrott as vice president of sales. Tlalka was formely vice president of marketing and sales at Ample Communications; he has also held senior positions at Mindspeed, Conexant Systems, Applied Digital Access and AG Communication Systems. Perrott was vice president of sales and business development at Solarflare Communications Inc. He previously led the sales team at Applied Micro Circuits Corp. and has held senior management positions at Generac Power Systems and Chip Supply Inc.
