TKH Group Adds to TKH Vision Portfolio with Euresys Acquisition

TKH Group has reached an agreement to acquire Euresys Group, a developer of hardware and software for 2D and 3D image analysis, video capture, and processing. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

Euresys’ main markets are computer vision, machine vision, factory automation, and medical imaging. The company’s offerings also include frame grabbers, IP cores, and custom products. 

According to Alexander van der Lof, CEO of TKH Group, Euresys’ technology complements TKH’s existing machine vision technologies and adds software expertise and interface technologies to the group’s portfolio. TKH Group operates the TKH Vision brand, which includes Allied Vision, Chromasens, LMI Technologies, NET, Tattile, and SVS-Vistek. TKH Group additionally acquired Nerian Vision and Mikrotron (via SVS-Vistek) in separate deals last year.

Euresys is based in Liège, Belgium, with operations in Germany, the U.S., Japan, Singapore, and China.
