Sunovia Energy Technologies Inc. of Sarasota, Fla., has been awarded a contract by the city of Fairview, Texas, to provide its energy-efficient EvoLucia LED products for streetlighting. The company said that replacing metal halide or incandescent lights with its proprietary LED products typically reduces electrical costs by more than 75 percent, besides decreasing carbon emissions.
