Srico Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, has been awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research contract by the US Air Force Research Laboratory. Worth $100,000, the contract enables Srico to work with its strategic partner, Spectrum Detector Inc. of Lake Oswego, Ore., to develop ultrasensitive pyroelectric detectors targeted at terahertz applications.
