Specim US Integrates into Konica Minolta Sensing Americas

TOKYO, Feb. 27, 2025 — Hyperspectral imaging company Specim has made a strategic organizational change in the U.S. Effective this month, the Specim US team is integrating with parent company Konica Minolta Sensing Americas. The move allows Specim to leverage a larger team and expanded resources to better support U.S. customers, the Oulu, Finland-based company said.

Konica Minolta acquired Specim in 2019
. Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, a provider of industrial color and light measurement technologies and a subsidiary to Konica Minolta, is headquartered in Ramsey, N.J. Specim opened a demo center at the New Jersey site in 2022.

According to Specim, points of contact for customers and partners will remain the same to ensure a smooth transition.
