CAMBRIDGE, England, May 1, 2024 — Specialised Imaging Ltd (SI), a designer and manufacturer of ultrafast framing cameras and ultra high-speed video cameras based in Cambridge, England, has launched SI Sensors, a division of the company. SI Sensors will focus on the development CMOS image sensors.

According to Philip Brown, general manager of SI Sensors, the division will develop custom sensors for customers with unique design requirements, such as for space and defense applications, in addition to developing new sensors for Specialised Imaging's ultra-fast imaging cameras using the latest foundry technologies.
