Smiths Detection of Watford, UK, a provider of chemical, biological and explosives detectors and x-ray screening equipment has signed a technical and marketing agreement with Telops Inc. of Quebec. The agreement will enable the English company to add Telops’ infrared technology to its line of chemical and biological agent detection products. The infrared instruments can be used as stand-alone and unmanned sensors for extended periods.
