Smart Vision Lights’ Kinney Elected to AIA’s Board of Directors

NORTON SHORES, Mich., March 11, 2020 — Steve Kinney, Smart Vision Lights’ director of engineering, has been elected to serve a two-year term on the board of directors of AIA, the machine vision industry’s trade group and part of the Association for Advancing Automation (A3). Smart Vision Lights is a designer and manufacturer of high-brightness LED lights for industrial applications, including machine vision. 

Kinney has been an active participant in the AIA community, both as Camera Link Committee chairman for 20 years and as designated instructor for AIA’s Certified Vision Professional course on advanced imagers and sensors.
