Science Exchange to Offer LI-COR Imaging Suite

Imaging systems developer LI-COR Biosciences is collaborating with Science Exchange, an outsourced R&D marketplace, to offer a suite of molecular imaging services based on LI-COR’s pioneer work in NIR fluorescence as a detection method.

"Working with Science Exchange allows us to reach key researchers focusing on preclinical and clinical translation applications," said Greg Biggs, CEO of LI-COR. "Building on our established expertise in Western blot assays, protocol, and probe development and optimization, we can now offer our unique expertise in expanded areas of focus for custom services including validation, manufacturing, and analytical chemistry."

Science Exchange includes an efficient source-to-secure platform for ordering 6000 services from a network of more than 2500 qualified outsourced research providers, all with pre-established contracts that protect client intellectual property and confidentiality.

"Teaming up with LI-COR provides researchers with access to unique, in some cases, one-of-a-kind services and products," said Elizabeth Iorns, co-founder and CEO of Science Exchange. "LI-COR has a clear leadership role in advancing imaging technology especially in the use of NIR detection."

LI-COR is a developer of NIR fluorescence labeling and detection systems for areas such as drug discovery, genomics, and small animal in vivo imaging.
