Scholarship Grant
Piezosystem Jena Inc. of Hopedale, Mass., has awarded a $1500 scholarship to Andre Denio of California State University, Northridge, to support his research into developing computer algorithms that control piezoelectrically driven mirrors. The mirrors are part of an adaptive optical system being developed for ground-based telescopes.
