MANCHESTER, Conn., April 10 -- Scan-Optics Inc. and Top Image Systems Ltd. have signed an agreement to market integrated solutions worldwide.
Under the agreement, both companies will have access to resources that can be focused on the application needs to the forms processing/transaction data capture industry. Both companies expect to extensively leverage from Top Image Systems' (TiS) eFLOW unified content platform, which includes the semistructured data entry of Freedom and the mobile communications and electronic transaction processing capabilities of Mobili. They also plan to integrate TiS' research and development capabilities in Israel with the Scan-Optics software suites of EMC++ in claims processing; DocWise for open object storage, retrieval and workflow; and the Vista Capture data perfection software suite into the eFLOW open platform architecture.
The companies said the goal of the joint agreement is to assure access to technologies from forms processing to electronic transaction processing needed to develop solutions in several lines of business with the Scan-Optics professional services organization and integration capabilities.
