SCHOTT Signs Agreement to Acquire Applied Microarrays

MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 1, 2021 — SCHOTT MINIFAB, a subsidiary of SCHOTT that develops and manufactures microfluidic devices for point-of-care and life science consumables, will acquire Applied Microarrays (AMI). The acquisition expands SCHOTT MINIFAB’s biosensor printing capabilities.

AMI will soon move to a larger facility in the Phoenix area, which will further expand SCHOTT’s footprint in the U.S.

The deal is expected to close in early October.
