CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, August 23 -- Rockwell Collins was selected by Sikorsky Aircraft to provide displays for the US Army fleet of 1,200 or more Sikorsky Black Hawk UH-60M helicopters.
Rockwell Collins anticipates more than $225 million in sales from the contracts over the 20 year life of the program. Rockwell Collins and Sikorsky have entered into a letter of intent for this program and are working to finalize definitive agreements.
For the UH-60M, Rockwell Collins is providing high-performance multifunction displays, and each aircraft will be equipped with four 6 by 8-inch landscape active matrix liquid crystal displays.
