Rice Camera, Telops Team for Imaging Systems

BILLERICA, Mass., Oct. 21, 2010 — Rice Camera Technologies Inc. entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Telops Inc. of Quebec City. It will offer Telops’ infrared cameras and hyperspectral systems to qualified customers in the US.

For applications requiring detection, identification and quantification of invisible substances, US customers will be satisfied with Telops’ Hyper-Cam, a hyperspectral imaging system. Those who require quality infrared cameras can purchase its HD-IR infrared camera with 1.3-megapixel resolution. Its FAST-IR device, suitable for ultrafast events, delivers frame rates of 1000+ fps.

Telops designs and produces optoelectronic systems for the defense, aerospace and telecommunications industries.

Rice Camera Technologies markets and supports cameras and camera technologies for industrial and military applications.
