Universal Display Loses $20M in 2009

EWING, N.J., March 19, 2010 — Organic LED (OLED) materials developer Universal Display Corp. posted losses for the fourth quarter of 2009 and for the full year of $3.8 million and $20.5 million respectively, although an increase in revenue for Q4 has company executives feeling positive. For the fourth quarter of 2009, Universal Display reported a net loss of $3.8 million, or 10 cents a share, versus a net loss of $4.4 million, or 12 cents a share, for the fourth quarter of 2008.
