MADRID, June 29 -- US undersea fiber optic cable provider TyCom Ltd. plans to invest $90 million over the next 12 months in order to develop a broadband network in Spain and Portugal. The company also said it had signed agreements with three companies on the Iberian Peninsula to link their broadband cables with TyCom's network.
