Available in print and electronic versions, the quarterly journal Plasmonics publishes peer-reviewed original articles on notable advances in the theory, physics and applications of surface plasmons in metals to the areas of nanotechnology, biophotonics, sensing, biochemistry and medicine. The inaugural issue, published in March, includes papers on plasmonics in biology and plasmon-controlled fluorescence, and on far-field Raman imaging of short-wavelength particle plasmons on gold nanorods. The journal includes material on plasmonic-based devices and synthetic procedures for the preparation of nanostructures and their optical properties. Reviews, rapid communications, letters to the editor, and technical and design notes are included. Contact the publisher for pricing information. C.D. Geddes and J.R.
