High-power IR diode laser manufacturer SemiNex Corp. has doubled its manufacturing capacity, expanded office space and implemented a dedicated cleanroom. To keep up with growing demand, SemiNex combined multiple locations into one larger headquarters to expand operations, increase productivity and facilitate collaboration between employees. The engineering offices doubled in space to accommodate additional projects and staff. “We look forward to serving our customers even more effectively, while enjoying a more comfortable and productive office space as employees of SemiNex,” said David Bean, president SemiNex. The dedicated cleanroom is designed for precision lensing of laser diodes used in medical, military and lidar applications. SolidWorks CAD and Zemax software packages were upgraded to provide state-of-the-art engineering capabilities and services. The conference space expanded, allowing for twice the occupancy and updated video conference and computer systems. Shipping and receiving is also more streamlined. SemiNex manufactures high-power IR diode lasers for military, medical, cosmetic and dental applications.
