Raytheon Wins $44.8 Million Army Contract

LEXINGTON, Mass., Aug. 6 -- Raytheon Co. has been awarded a $44.8 million full rate production contract by the US Army for its Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided (TOW) Improved Target Acquisition Systems (ITAS). The Army agreement also calls for a subsequent production contract to be awarded later this year, which will raise the total value of the contracts to $237 million over a period of five years.
