Navitar Awarded Lens Assembly Contract

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Aug. 3, 2010 — Navitar Inc. announced it was awarded a contract with the Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio (DSCC) for a multi-element lens assembly to be used by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIR) of Lakehurst, N.J. The lens assembly was approved for use in the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) of US Navy aircraft carriers, specifically within the Optical Landing System (OLS).
