Nanoparticle-Laser Method Targets Chemo Drugs

HOUSTON, April 10, 2012 — A potential treatment method for drug-resistant cancer uses gold nanoparticles to convert laser energy into “plasmonic nanobubbles,” which allow chemotherapy drugs to enter single cells.
