Lantis Laser, Perio-Imaging to Merge

DENVILLE, N.J., June 18, 2010 — Lantis Laser Inc. announced it will merge with Perio-Imaging Inc., a private New York-based company that makes an ultrasonographic periodontal probe system. The merger would be an all-stock transaction. The name of the new company will be announced at the closing. Lantis said the combined company should be more attractive to investors, so the product portfolio can be advanced to commercialization. One of the conditions for closing is that the required funding for the product development program is raised.
