Invisible Border Patrol Employs Lasers, Optics

TUCSON, Ariz., Dec. 17, 2010 — A unique underground surveillance system that includes lasers, detectors and fiber optics could be used to watch the entire US-Mexico border continuously, and can determine whether a person or animal is crossing over it.
