European Broadband Users to Reach the 10 Million Mark by 2003

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, April 16 -- Research from Jupiter MMXI, an Internet research company, forecasts that, due mainly to the high price of technology, the adoption of broadband will be slow across Europe, contrary to many of the predictions currently being made in the marketplace. The company also said that lack of competition among access operators and low customer demand were also reasons for the projected slow growth.
