Drexler Wins Order for Border ID Cards
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 21 -- Drexler Technology Corp. has received a $4.8 million order for LaserCard Triple-Image identification cards for an ongoing US border-crossing ID card program. The highly secure optical memory cards are slated for use as US Department of State "Laser Visa" cards for frequent visitors from Mexico crossing the border into the states of Texas, Arizona, and California -- for visits, shopping, and other consumer activities.
