Materials and optics manufacturer E.R. Precision Optical Corp.’s has been awarded a three-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the Defense Logistics Agency’s Land and Maritime agency to provide Gunner’s Primary Sight Windows for use in tank and fire control systems. The contract is estimated at a value of $2.8 million over three years with a potential of five years. Germanium windows provide protection for advanced thermal imaging fire control systems that give tanks the ability to operate at night or in poor weather conditions. ”E.R.
