A Student Reception and Career Fair will be held Wed. 11 April, 1:30-3:00 p.m. at this year's OPTO-Northeast scientific meeting in Rochester N.Y. Representatives of optics companies will be available to talk to students about careers in optics. This year's student reception is offered through generous sponsorship by Eastman Kodak Inc. OMM, a supplier of photonic switching subsystems based on MEMS technology, announced that it has been awarded ISO 9001 certification by Det Norske Veritas (DnV) for its corporate quality management system.
