DRS Technologies Inc. of Parsippany, N.J., has received two contracts from the Missiles and Fire Control segment of the Bethesda, Md.-based Lockheed Martin Corp. to produce infrared assemblies for the US Army Apache helicopter Arrowhead system. The assemblies are major components of the Arrowhead Modernized Target Acquisition and Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor systems. The $31.4 million contract will be for pilotage and targeting receiver assemblies, and the $28.5 million award will be for standard Advanced Dewey Assembly I units.
