Cubic Wins Contract for Additional Laser Training Gear

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 16 -- Cubic Defense Systems, a subsidiary of Cubic Corp. has received a nearly $19 million contract for additional MILES 2000 laser-based ground combat training equipment. The award, from Tec-Masters Inc. (TMI) of Huntsville, Ala., will provide MILES 2000 equipment to the US Army installation at Fort Lewis, Wash. Cubic's MILES 2000 or Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System is a ground-combat training system that offers the most realistic force-on-force training today.
