Corning, Others Contribute to Support Disaster Relief
CORNING, N.Y., Sept. 14 -- Corning Incorporated and other high-tech firms are helping to support disaster victims and their families in New York City and Washington D.C., with corporate contributions, and through an employee and retiree donation effort. Corning, through its Corning Foundation will donate $100,000 to the September 11th Fund, created by the United Way and The New York Community Trust.
