SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 23 -- Coherent, Inc., Semiconductor Division (CSD), will now provide direct sales, service and support to the high-power diode laser market in Switzerland from the CSD European headquarters in Dieburg, Germany. "Due to significant growth in the commercial high-power diode laser business in Switzerland, we have decided to serve the market directly from Dieburg," said Dr. Joerg Neukum, CSD's European sales manager. Neukum adds, "We expect to strengthen our position as a high-power laser diode supplier for the Swiss market within the next fiscal year."
