Chromux Technologies Inc. of Oxnard, Calif., will manufacture and market worldwide optical channel monitoring and analysis products that are based on a compliant microelectromechanical systems technology licensed to the company by NP Photonics of Tucson, Ariz. Chromux will add an optical performance module, optical spectrum analyzer engine and tunable filter module to its portfolio. The filter module, the core technology of the product line, is a fast-response, all-optical Fabry-Perot interferometer designed for use in optical telecommunications and networking applications.
