Centice Names CEO, Adds Bridge Financing

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Oct. 30, 2013 — Raman spectroscopy technology provider Centice Corp. has named John Goehrke as CEO and negotiated with current investors to provide up to $1.5 million in bridge financing, the company said this week. Centice was founded in 2004 from technology created at Duke University. Its Raman spectroscopy technology is used primarily by law enforcement and security agencies for chemical identification of narcotics, cutting agents and controlled prescription drugs.
