BlazePhotonics Sells Assets to Crystal Fibre

Crystal Fibre A/S of BirkerØd, Denmark, has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of BlazePhotonics of Bath, UK, for $3.3 million. The transfer was scheduled for August. As part of the agreement, Crystal Fibre receives access to technical expertise and patents that complement its own technology. It will sell BlazePhotonics' products, including photonic bandgap fibers, as well as its own highly nonlinear, large-mode-area, and high-numerical-aperture fibers and cladding pumped fibers.Read full article
