Buckley is founder of Photon Machines (now Teledyne Photon Machines), has held leadership positions at Ocean Optics, and most recently served as president of Block Engineering. He is former faculty at the University of California, San Diego, and currently serves as an affiliate associate professor in mechanical engineering at the University of Washington. SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Celestial AI, developer of optical interconnect technology platforms, has appointed Diane Bryant to the company’s board of directors. Bryant has more than 30 years of semiconductor, AI, and public and private company experience, and currently serves as an independent board member at Broadcom and Haemonetics. She is the former chairman and CEO of medical technology and data company NovaSignal. Bryant also previously served as the COO of Google Cloud and on the United Technologies Corp board of directors from 2016 to 2020 where she was a member of the audit and finance committees.
