As the economy starts to pick up, Vision 2011 will turn an eye on machine vision applications and complete systems for industrial and nonindustrial purposes. A full range of machine vision components, systems, services and innovative products – including cameras, sensors, illumination sources, lasers, optics, lenses, software and frame grabbers – will be showcased at the 24th annual Vision 2011, to be presented by Messe Stuttgart at the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre from Nov. 8 to 10. The 2010 show was the largest Vision event to date, drawing 6752 visitors – 500...Read full article

    camera link hs
Camera Link HS (high speed) is a standard developed for high-speed digital data transmission in machine vision and industrial imaging applications. It is an evolution of the original Camera Link standard, aiming to provide higher bandwidth and faster data transfer rates. Camera Link HS utilizes high-speed serial communication to transmit image data, control signals, and metadata between cameras and frame grabbers or other image processing devices. Key features of Camera Link HS include: ...
    coaxpress
CoaXPress (CoaXPress or CXP) is a standardized digital interface and communication protocol used primarily in machine vision and industrial imaging applications. It enables high-speed data transmission and real-time communication between cameras and computers or other image processing devices. CoaXPress was developed to address the need for high-resolution and high-speed image acquisition in various industrial and scientific fields. Key features and characteristics of CoaXPress include: ...
    electronics
That branch of science involved in the study and utilization of the motion, emissions and behaviors of currents of electrical energy flowing through gases, vacuums, semiconductors and conductors, not to be confused with electrics, which deals primarily with the conduction of large currents of electricity through metals.
    glass
A noncrystalline, inorganic mixture of various metallic oxides fused by heating with glassifiers such as silica, or boric or phosphoric oxides. Common window or bottle glass is a mixture of soda, lime and sand, melted and cast, rolled or blown to shape. Most glasses are transparent in the visible spectrum and up to about 2.5 µm in the infrared, but some are opaque such as natural obsidian; these are, nevertheless, useful as mirror blanks. Traces of some elements such as cobalt, copper and...
    machine vision
Machine vision, also known as computer vision or computer sight, refers to the technology that enables machines, typically computers, to interpret and understand visual information from the world, much like the human visual system. It involves the development and application of algorithms and systems that allow machines to acquire, process, analyze, and make decisions based on visual data. Key aspects of machine vision include: Image acquisition: Machine vision systems use various...
