TORONTO, May 22 -- AT&T Canada Inc. has appointed two new executives as part of an overall management succession plan. John T. McLennan was named vice chairman and CEO; McLennan was formerly president and CEO of Bell Canada. AT&T Canada's new president and COO is Harry W. Truderung. Truderung was formerly president of Telus Mobility where he made a name for the company as one of Canada's top wireless carriers. Craig Young will act as vice-chairman and director, as well as significant shareholder, until the end of the second phase of the merger between AT&T, BT and the former MetroNet shareholders. And Jim Meenan will stay on as vice chairman and CEO until the end of the transition. Meenan will retire from AT&T Canada at the end of this year.
