BOULDER, Colo., June 3 -- Picolight Inc., developer of high-speed optoelectronic components and subsystems for the enterprise and optical metro/access networks, announced it has successfully raised $27 million in its latest funding round.
St. Paul Venture Capital joined with Bank America Venture Partners, Charles River Ventures and Pequot Capital, who participated in previous rounds, to complete the new funding.
Picolight said the new financing will enable it to continue volume manufacturing its three product lines: MAGNUS 850-nanometer parallel optics products, Accelar 850 nm serial optical products and E x t e n s u s 1310 nm.
