Photon Dynamics Inc. of San Jose, Calif., a manufacturer of flat panel display products, has acquired all of the outstanding shares of the digital camera supplier Salvador Imaging of Colorado Springs, Colo., for approximately $20 million. Photon Dynamics will use the acquired company’s technology for visible and near-infrared imaging in defense, surveillance, industrial machine vision, homeland security and medical applications.
