BARRINGTON, N.J. — Edmund Optics appointed Ekaterina Golovchenko senior vice president of technology and development. Golovchenko, who has worked at AT&T Bell Labs, IPG Photonics, and Lumentum, will be responsible for expanding and enhancing Edmund Optics’ R&D and engineering groups. She will also chair an internal technology and advisory committee. Golovchenko also serves as director at large for Optica (formerly the Optical Society of America).

REYKJAVIK, Iceland — The board of metals intelligence company DTE ehf appointed Margrét Ormslev Ásgeirdóttir to the board. Ásgeirdóttir replaces Árni Blöndal. Ásgeirdóttir is also chairman for Taekknisetur, an Icelandic government-owned nonprofit providing infrastructure and technical support to high-tech innovation companies.

CINCINATTI — Cleaning Technologies Group, a provider of innovative cleaning and waste-minimization technologies, appointed Chris Whittaker to be president of the company's Ransohoff Garment Division. The division is focused on the innovation, design, manufacture, installation, and service of specialty equipment outside of the parts-cleaning industry.

MONHEIM AM RHEIN, Germany — Resolve Biosciences appointed Frank Zhong CTO. Zhong will oversee all product development and research activities driving the company’s molecular cartography platform for high-resolution spatial biology.

BEDFORD, Mass. — Medical imaging company SpectraWAVE appointed Vivek Walimbe vice president of R&D, and Farzad Parsaie vice president of quality and regulatory affairs. Walimbe previously served as vice president of research and development at Baxter Healthcare. Parsaie joins SpectraWAVE from Johnson & Johnson’s Robotic and Digital Solutions where he was responsible for program management of hardware subsystems, advanced visualization, and new product introduction.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Rebus Biosciences appointed Arul Chinnaiyan and Sten Linnarsson to its scientific advisory board. Chinnaiyan is an investigator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where he specializes in oncology. Linnarsson is a professor of molecular systems biology at Karolinska Institute (Sweden).
