Partners for Thin-Film Solar
Rofin-Sinar Technologies Inc. of Plymouth, Mich., a manufacturer of laser beam sources and laser-based solutions, has entered into a strategic alliance with Manz Automation AG of Reutlingen, Germany. The companies will develop a machine concept for the production of thin-film solar modules. The proposed equipment will combine laser edge ablation and laser cutting.
