Otto Schott Research Award Now Open

Schott is accepting submissions for the 13th Otto Schott Research Award, which grants €25,000 (approximately $32,500) for outstanding scientific achievement in glass research.

The international prize was first awarded in 1991 and alternates with the Carl Zeiss Research Award. Deadline for submissions is July 31.

Candidates must provide references of achievements in fundamental research or technology development in the areas of glass and related advanced materials, components and systems in the fields of optics and electronics, solar power, health and living.
