Osram to Promote OLED Mass Production

REGENSBURG, Germany -- Osram Opto Semiconductors GmbH is coordinating a European Union research project to develop cost-effective volume production methods for organic LEDs. CombOLED, part of the Seventh Framework programme, hopes to make the light sources practical for the general lighting market.
