Optimax Obtains Funding for Training Programs
Under the Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development initiative, the federal government has granted Optimax Systems Inc. of Ontario, N.Y., funding to support four employee training programs during 2007. The company plans to spend more than $60,000 on incremental training in advanced optical design; optician training and two other programs also will be offered.
