MINNEAPOLIS, June 21 -- Optical Solutions Inc. has been awarded a contract from Reedsburg Utility Commission of Wisconsin. The utility will use Optical Solutions' FiberPath solution to deliver voice, video and data services over fiber-optic cabling installed directly to Reedsburg's businesses, and later to residents.
Construction is currently underway and has received the full support of Reedsburg's mayor and city officials. "More than just a new way to deliver communications services, this fiber build-out will impact our entire community," said Carl Stolte, mayor of Reedsburg. "Schools, health care facilities, businesses, libraries, law enforcement and residents can all benefit from this powerful new broadband offering."
